Aerotech YAK54 ARF

The YAK54 is a delite and we have been having great fun flying this model, power can be any of the 50/60cc petrol engines on the market today. The all important exhaust mounting tunnel is installed within the fuselage to allow for quiet operation of the model. Beware of models without this option unless you are happy to build a tunnel within a fuselage to accept a canister muffler. We also have pre-made manifolds to fit the 3W range of motors  for this model & canister mufflers to fit also. The wings & tail are plug in to allow for ease of transport & storage, the canopy & front section of the models top fuselage is removable to allow ease of radio & tank plumbing. This model is at home flying scale aeros or with a budding 3d pilot with the surface movements turned up. We currently fly this model with a five cylinder glow four-stroke, great sound & scale power! NICE.

The kit also includeds the required amount of control horns, thes being gold anodised alloy & a nice feature is the actual pivot is ball raced & a special clevis is included to match this horn. The advantage of this control horn is that it has a wide mounting foot print to distribute the torque to the control surface & the ball-raced conection to the push rods is slop free. If required we can also provide ballraced ends for the servo end as well as turned alloy bespoke push rods to further enhance the model at a extra charge. Included also is a Titanium tailwheel assembly which further enhances the models looks, this can be left free castoring or can be conected directly to the rudder to give direct movement control to the tailwheel.

The cowls mounting is quiet clever, the cowl has four alloy mounting dowls which in turn plug into the fuselage locating to cowl into position, thes dowls are inturn locked into place with four 3mm studs, very neat .
