ProBuild Aircraft Ltd serves as the UK service centre for many leading engine manufacturers, including 3W, Desert Aircraft, GP Engines, YS Yamada, Kolm Engines, DLE, GAUI G Power, and OS Engines. We offer expert engine servicing and repairs to ensure your engine operates at its best.

When sending your engine or ignition for service, please include a note with your contact information and a detailed description of the issue. To make this process easier, please complete the Service Request Form below and include it with your engine or ignition. This information will assist our technicians in identifying and addressing any issues quickly and accurately.

No return authorization (RMA) or prior notification is required when sending your product for service.

How to Pack Your Product for Service

When preparing to send your engine or ignition to ProBuild Aircraft Ltd for service, please ensure you use an appropriately sized box with ample packing material to prevent movement during shipping. Pay extra attention to fragile components such as spark plugs, cylinder fins, and the carburettor when wrapping your product. It's important to avoid any damage during transit—what may begin as a minor repair could be worsened by improper packing. We recommend using a new box to ensure maximum protection.

Please clearly label the box with “Attention: Service Department.” In most cases, there’s no need to include your exhaust system or muffler. However, it is essential to include a note explaining why you are sending the item for service, along with your contact details. Without this note, we will be unable to contact you and the item may be set aside until further inquiry is made. To assist with this, we recommend using our pre-made Service Request Form, available for download in the “Service Request Form” above or in your engine owner’s manual. Complete the form as thoroughly as possible—detailed information will help our technicians provide accurate service. Keep in mind that the technician handling your engine may not be the same person you spoke with, so be sure to provide all necessary details.

For added security, we also recommend attaching tracking to your shipment. Please note that ProBuild Aircraft Ltd does not notify customers when their engine arrives, but we will contact you once the inspection has been completed.

Engines that have not had owner communication for over six months will be considered abandoned.
