Refund policy

ProBuild Aircraft Ltd – Return & Refund Policy

Effective Date: 31/10/2025

1. Overview

At ProBuild Aircraft Ltd, we take great pride in providing high-quality RC aircraft, engines, and accessories.
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we offer a 30-day return policy from the date of purchase.

All returns must meet the eligibility conditions below to qualify for a refund or replacement.


2. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be returned within 30 days of purchase.
  • Items must be unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging, with all labels, bags, and tags intact.
  • Items must be free from signs of use, modification, or assembly.
  • Customised or special-order items (including drilled propellers, painted parts, bespoke aircraft, or made-to-order components) cannot be returned unless faulty upon receipt.
  • Returns showing damage caused by improper packaging, tape on retail boxes, or evidence of use will not be accepted.
  • Items that do not meet these conditions will be refused and returned to you at your cost.

3. How to Return an Item

You may use any signed-for courier service to return your parcel to:

Please note: we are not responsible for lost or damaged parcels when using your own courier.


4. Refund Process

Once your return is received, it will be inspected within 14 days.

If approved:

  • Refunds will be processed to your original payment method.
  • You will receive an email confirmation once the refund is issued.
  • Refunds typically appear within 2–3 working days, depending on your payment provider.

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless:

  • The item was faulty upon arrival, or
  • An incorrect item was sent by mistake.

If you used our pre-paid return label, a £9.99 deduction will be applied to your refund to cover postage.


5. Exchanges

We do not hold stock for direct exchanges.
If you wish to replace an item, please return your original item for a refund and place a new order through our website.


6. Damaged, Missing, or Incorrect Items

Missing Items

If any items are missing from your order, please notify us within 14 days of delivery at sales@probuild-uk.com so we can investigate promptly.
Reports made after this period may not be accepted by the courier.

Damaged Parcels

If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, you must:

  • Refuse delivery and ensure the damage is logged by the delivery driver, or
  • Accept the parcel but ensure the driver records the damage at the time of delivery.

Failure to have the damage logged in the courier’s system may result in the claim being rejected, as delivery companies will not accept unlogged damage claims.

Please retain all packaging and contact us immediately at sales@probuild-uk.com with your order number and clear photos.

Incorrect or Faulty Items

If you receive the wrong item or a faulty product, contact us within 14 days with:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photos of the product and packaging

Once verified, we will issue a pre-paid return label and send a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.


7. Non-Returnable & Special-Order Items

We cannot accept returns on the following:

  • Customised, modified, or painted items
  • Special-order products (non-stock items ordered specifically for you)
  • Products showing signs of use, installation, or wear

If these items are returned, they will be sent back to you and return shipping will apply.


8. Refund Exclusions & Deductions

Refunds may be refused or reduced if:

  • Items show signs of use, modification, or damage not caused by delivery
  • Items are returned without original packaging or components
  • Items are missing accessories or hardware
  • Deliveries are refused without prior agreement (a £15 handling fee may apply to cover courier return costs)

9. Warranty & Aftercare

Most products are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty against defects in materials or workmanship.

All warranty claims are subject to inspection by ProBuild Aircraft Ltd or the original manufacturer before resolution.
