1. Overview

This website is operated by ProBuild Aircraft Ltd. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to ProBuild Aircraft Ltd.
We offer this website, including all information, tools, and services available from this site, to you — the user — conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated here.

By accessing or purchasing from our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Goods & Services

Prices and availability of goods and services are subject to change without notice. All prices shown on the website are inclusive of VAT, unless otherwise stated.

We make every effort to ensure that all pricing, descriptions, and stock information are accurate. However, errors may occur. If a pricing or product error is identified, we will contact you with the option to:

  • Reconfirm your order at the correct price, or
  • Cancel the order for a full refund.

Refunds may take up to 2–3 business days to appear in your account, depending on your bank’s processing time.

All technical data and specifications are provided to the best of our knowledge but may change as RC aircraft technology evolves.

Orders placed before 12pm (midday, Monday–Friday) will usually be dispatched the same day if the item is in stock.
Please note that Next Working Day delivery is available for most UK mainland orders, but delivery times cannot be guaranteed due to occasional courier delays outside of our control.

Customisation services (such as propeller drilling, balancing, or engine setup) may add 1–2 working days to the dispatch time.

2A. Special Order Items

Certain products supplied by ProBuild Aircraft Ltd are designated as Special Order Items. These include, but are not limited to, items not held in regular stock, products imported specifically at the customer’s request, or components custom-built or configured to order.

  1. Payment Terms – The full amount is due in advance before a special order is placed with the manufacturer or supplier. Orders will not be processed or confirmed until full payment has been received and cleared.
  2. Non-Cancellable & Non-Refundable – Once a special order has been confirmed and placed, it cannot be cancelled, amended, or refunded, except where ProBuild Aircraft Ltd is unable to supply the goods.
  3. Lead Times – Estimated lead times are provided in good faith based on supplier information but are subject to change due to manufacturing or shipping delays beyond our control.
  4. Returns – Special Order Items are non-returnable, except in the event of verified manufacturing faults covered under the manufacturer’s warranty.

By placing a special order, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these conditions in full.

3. Orders & Contract Formation

When you place an order through our website, you make a binding offer to purchase the goods in your basket.
You will receive an automated confirmation of receipt of your order; however, a contract is only formed when we dispatch the goods or confirm dispatch in writing.

If we cannot fulfil your order within 7 days, we will inform you accordingly.

4. Product Availability

If an ordered item becomes unavailable, we may offer a substitute of similar quality and price. You are not obliged to accept the alternative and may cancel the order at no cost.
The same applies if only part of your order is unavailable.

5. Prices & Payment

All prices are listed in Pounds Sterling (£) and include UK VAT unless otherwise stated.

We do not offer free shipping. Delivery costs are calculated based on the size, weight, and value of your order and your chosen courier service (DHL or Royal Mail). This ensures all shipments are fully insured and trackable.

  • Gift Cards or Store Credit (where issued by ProBuild Aircraft Ltd)

Payment must be made in full before dispatch unless otherwise agreed in writing.
All payments are processed securely through Shopify Payments or trusted third-party providers using SSL encryption.

6. Delivery

All goods are dispatched from our UK warehouse. A signature or delivery confirmation is required upon delivery.

If you are unavailable at delivery, the courier will return the parcel to a local depot and attempt redelivery. You can provide alternative delivery instructions directly to the courier.

If delivery fails multiple times or is returned to us due to non-collection, additional return and redelivery charges may apply.

Please do not refuse delivery — refused parcels incur a £15 return processing fee, deducted from any refund due.

If you request a “safe place” delivery, ProBuild Aircraft Ltd is not liable for any loss or theft once the courier confirms delivery to that location.

If an order is dispatched on time using the selected service, we cannot refund shipping costs for courier delays outside our control, though we will assist in resolving issues where possible.

If any items are missing or damaged on receipt, please notify us within 14 days of delivery. Reports made after this period cannot be investigated.

7. Delivery Times

Royal Mail Services

  • Royal Mail 24® Tracked – aims to deliver within 1 working day, but please allow up to 3 working days as delays can occur.
  • Royal Mail 48® Tracked – aims to deliver within 2–3 working days, but please allow up to 5 working days for delivery.

DHL Services

  • England, Wales & Scotland – aims for next working day delivery, but please allow up to 2 working days.
  • Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland & Channel Islands – aims for 2–3 working days, but please allow up to 5 working days.

International Shipping

  • Royal Mail International Tracked – aims for 5–7 working days, but please allow up to 15 working days for customs delays.
  • DHL / FedEx / TNT / UPS – aim for 3–7 working days, but please allow up to 10 working days for international clearance.

Delivery times are estimates only and not guaranteed.

The risk of loss or damage passes to you once goods are delivered to your address or a nominated recipient.

8. Returns Policy

We offer a 30-day returns policy.

Returned items must be unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging.
Custom-built models, drilled propellers, or bespoke-manufactured parts cannot be returned unless faulty on arrival.

If you receive an incorrect item, contact us within 14 days for a replacement or refund.
Faulty or damaged goods must also be reported within 14 days. Items showing signs of use may not be eligible for replacement or refund.

9. Warranty

Most products are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty for defects in materials or workmanship.
All claims are subject to inspection and assessment by either ProBuild Aircraft Ltd or the original manufacturer.

We aim to handle warranty claims promptly, but resolution times may vary depending on supplier response.

10. Refunds

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Once processed, you will receive confirmation by email.
Refunds typically appear within 2–3 working days, depending on your payment provider.

11. International Deliveries & Customs Duties

International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, or customs charges, payable by the customer.

If a parcel is returned due to unpaid duties or refusal to pay, the return shipping and associated fees will be deducted from any refund.

12. Marketing, Cookies & Newsletters

We use cookies to improve your browsing experience and may display tailored adverts on third-party platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram).

We will only send marketing emails if you have opted in. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email.

13. VAT-Excluded Areas

Orders placed from VAT-exempt territories will not be charged UK VAT.

14. Our Liability

We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of all information provided.
However, ProBuild Aircraft Ltd cannot be held liable for any injury, damage, or loss resulting from the use or misuse of products purchased via our website.

Liability is limited to proven negligence or wilful misconduct.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

All information on this website is provided for general guidance and is supplied “as is” without any warranty, express or implied.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure safe operation and compliance with manufacturer guidelines.

17. Conduct Policy

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward abusive, threatening, or offensive communication toward our staff.
Our team will always act professionally and courteously to resolve any issues.

18. Data Protection

Customer data is processed in accordance with the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR.

19. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by English law.
If you are a business customer, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
Consumers may also bring proceedings in their local UK court.

20. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect.

21. Batteries & Waste Disposal

Batteries and electrical goods must not be disposed of in household waste.
Please return used batteries to a local recycling or collection point.

22. Errors & Omissions

While every effort is made to ensure product information is correct, errors may occur.
If an error is discovered after ordering, we will contact you to confirm or cancel your order for a full refund.
We reserve the right to withdraw from any contract in the event of a clear or typographical error.
